A MARC record is a MAchine-Readable Cataloging record. It contains a guide to its data, or little "signposts," before each piece of bibliographic information.
Free MARC records for Naxos Music Library World are available for download in .XML format. They are offered on an as-is basis. These records are updated quarterly (mid-January, mid-April, mid-July, and mid-October). Previously these records were updated once a year and were a year behind. The new records are current upon release as of the end of the previous quarter (the mid-January records cover titles added through December 31, etc.).
It can be found here:
1. Go to http://www.NaxosMusicLibrary.com/world.
2. Login using the Administrator or Librarian username and password.
3. Click on the 'Manage Account' link on the top left side of the page once logged in, and look for 'MARC Records'. It is found on the lower left side of the said page.

NOTE: When the admin or librarian wishes to update only the most recent quarter, they will need to download the full set still, but then they can simply ingest just the files for that quarter.
Customized records may be purchased from OCLC. Direct customers to OCLC for pricing and more information.
OCLC receives updates from Naxos with each update of our free records. We at Naxos also notify them about titles deleted from our catalogue, so please refer all your questions to OCLC via their Contact page.
