User Profiles

Institutional accounts can have the following access to Naxos Music Library:

Administrator - will be granted access to the entire service, including the “Manage Account" page, the icon of which can be found in the Manual Bar at the top of each page. Apart from viewing and streaming all content, Administrator can view usage statistics, change time-out duration, view number of turnaways (i.e., how many of their users could not log on due to the maximum number of simultaneous users purchased had been reached) and create playlists available to all their authorised users.

Professor - will also have access to the entire site as listed above but not the capability to get to the “Manage Account” page. Can create playlist for students to listen to.

Librarian - will have access to the “Manage Account” page only without taking up any user count purchased. Librarian cannot view or stream the content of the service.

Member - the general access given to members or students on top of access by IP authentication and referring URL as set by the Administrator. Logging-in with Member username will have access to the entire library but not the capability to create own playlists, or edit and delete the playlists created by Professors and Administrator. They can create their own playlists by signing up on the Student Playlist page if the Administrator has selected to enable this feature.
